License tagging for Image:DSC 8263.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:DSC 8263.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 01:06, 28 January 2007 (UTC)

AfD nomination of Ana Silvera

edit

I have nominated Ana Silvera, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ana Silvera. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Hi there - I think I may have updated it in accordance with guide lines, though I see the decision was to keep it anyway!Could you tell me how long it will be before the proposed deletion tag is taken down? Thanks!

Nice work on the article...it already has been through the process and has been kept! Happy editing, --Kukini háblame aquí 10:38, 26 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Transwiki to a more suitable site

edit

Hi Gracewhite, As your article is currently under review for deletion, you may wish to consider transferring it to Wikipopuli, a wiki that hosts biographical articles and does not impose a notability requirement. Best, TheYellowCabin (talk) 01:30, 12 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Speedy deletion nomination of File:1968RaySinger.jpg

edit

A tag has been placed on File:1968RaySinger.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
