January 2019 edit

You added or changed content in an article, Executive Order 9066, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial. Thank you. -- Gmatsuda (talk) 05:28, 16 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

@Gmatsuda: [1] page 80 says that " the government of the United States was accepting the Japanese view that the Korean Peninsula belonged to Japan.", while page 83 says " About 120,000 people of Japanese ancestry were put into these camps, but Koreans were spared this although some were employed as interpreters.". Also, the website I referenced is from a university, and a GA state university at that, which should be a reliable source WP:Reliable sources GoyangCityBoy (talk) 12:07, 16 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Regardless, EO 9066 was solely targeted at those who were actually of Japanese ancestry. No one else was considered for mass incarceration under EO 9066, including those of Korean ancestry. -- Gmatsuda (talk) 06:45, 17 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
