Disambiguation link notification for June 13 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited I Want to Be Your Man, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Zapp. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:29, 13 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi there! My mean is not to bother you, but I was wondering if you could find time to comment on my FAC above—which you previously peer-reviewed—and even support or oppose to it.   Best regards, Cartoon network freak (talk) 11:56, 19 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

New deal for page patrollers edit

Hi Gongshow,

In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.

Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.

Find out more about this exiting new user right now at New Page Reviewers and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 04:29, 13 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

To space or not to space edit

An editor has proposed contradictory page moves on several Sirius/XM channels, trying to get the space between Sirius and XM removed from some channels where a space is present in the title and simultaneously trying to get a space added between Sirius and XM on some channels where it isn't. There is a consistency issue that needs to be addressed one way or the other about whether there should be a space or not, so I've initiated a discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Radio Stations — would you be willing to come weigh in one way or the other? Thanks. Bearcat (talk) 17:50, 14 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Cameron Cuffe listed at Redirects for discussion edit

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Cameron Cuffe. Since you had some involvement with the Cameron Cuffe redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. -- AlexTW 10:50, 23 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

A barnstar for you! edit

  The Super Disambiguator's Barnstar
The Super Disambiguator's Barnstar is awarded to the winners of the Disambiguation Pages With Links monthly challenge, who have gone above and beyond to remove ambiguous links.
This award is presented to Gongshow, for successfully fixing 1991 links in the challenge of June 2018. This user is also recognized as the Bonus List Champion of June 2018.

The numbers in the HoF should be taken with a pinch of salt: not everything gets counted. However, the headline numbers in WP:TDD are taking some serious damage, and those I do trust. WP:DPL's task will never end, but we're beginning to identify new problems within something like 3-4 weeks (which in Wiki terms, is close to real time).

Can I interest you in {{DPL topicon}} and/or {{WikiGnome topicon}} for your User Page? Narky Blert (talk) 07:56, 1 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
