Speedy deletion nomination of Rubicon Project

Hi Cliff C. I did not think that adding the Zynga valuation ranking from Silicon Valley Insider would be considered promotional or a soap box. Hi, I reverted nine plugs for businessinsider.com that listed various companies' positions on its "Top 100" list. This looks like spamming and adds little or no value to the articles - lots of other sites would like a mention in every Wikipedia social-media article, but that is not the purpose of Wikipedia. Please review WP:ELNO, WP:REFSPAM and WP:Spam#How_not_to_be_a_spammer. Thanks, CliffC (talk) 01:01, 16 November 2010 (UTC)

Ok - I think I see what the concern is ...but that certainly was not my intention to try to promote any site by adding links. Rather I was trying to add more value to each article by providing verifiable and reputable 3rd party information about the traffic to these particular sites. I don't see what makes that site "reputable". Please see reliable sources. Perhaps next time, ask on the Reliable source noticeboard if a site is reliable before adding it to a bunch of articles. --CutOffTies (talk) 18:16, 1 January 2011 (UTC)
