I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome!  -- WikHead (talk) 23:53, 2 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Best wishes, but ... edit

Your contributions are most welcome. We need chemists. My advice is here User:Smokefoot#Avoid citing yourself, your family, your friends, and your colleagues and here WP:SECONDARY. Gist of this advice: avoid citing yourself, and cite big sources not patents and specialized journal articles. Good luck, I hope you can see a way to contribute broadly.--Smokefoot (talk) 04:14, 3 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Drop by? edit

Why don't you drop by WT:CHEMISTRY and say hello to our fellow Wikichemists? If you are looking for me (or anyone else), you can leave them a note at their talk page. For example, mine would be User talk:Rifleman_82. You can also take a look at {{cite journal}} to learn how to format the citations. There is a separate tutorial (Wikipedia:Tutorial/Citing_sources) which shows you how to reference the text. Very briefly, the reference text is enclosed in

<ref> and </ref>

tags. At the bottom, include

==References== <references/>

and the references will display in that section. --Rifleman 82 (talk) 21:38, 5 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Scoschana Rabinovici edit

The article Scoschana Rabinovici has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Hi. When you recently edited Five Chimneys, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Birkenau (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Ways to improve Hydrofuramide edit

Hi, I'm JustBerry. George.kvakovszky, thanks for creating Hydrofuramide!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. The page only contains one paragraph of information. It should be considered as a stub.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. JustBerry (talk) 04:03, 19 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Proposed deletion of Blitz blockade edit

The article Blitz blockade has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Does not satisfy WP:GNG; the only reference to blitz blockade in chess literature is the obscure article in which the term was coined.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Bernard Parham moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Bernard Parham, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) In addition, there appears to be a WP:UPE or WP:COI conflict. Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, and have addressed the UPE/COI issue, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. As per WP policy, please do not move into mainspace yourself. Onel5969 TT me 12:26, 4 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
