September 2019 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to United Kingdom, appears to have been inappropriate, and has been reverted. Please feel free to use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. The previous version was in coherent English. David Biddulph (talk) 02:11, 10 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Edit warring at Template:Largest Metropolitan Areas of Mexico edit

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

The full report is at the edit warring noticeboard. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 01:22, 11 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to List of countries and dependencies by area, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Hello Generic515. You must not use edit summaries such as this one. This is a personal attack, and it is not permitted on Wikipedia. If this happens again, you will likely be blocked. ST47 (talk) 00:57, 24 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Spain. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Dharmalion76 (talk) 23:45, 26 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

  • In particular, @Generic515:, I am concerned about you refer to other users as "confirmed anti-Mexico user" and "Spain's user" making "dump edits". I am also concerned that, even though you returned from a block just last week for edit warring, you made these reverts without making any recent comments to either article's talk page. Wikipedia isn't a place for tendentious partisan editing, and the fact that you believe other editors' nationalities has some bearing on the quality of their edits is neither justification to revert them, nor a productive attitude in general. You must find a way to collaborate or these blocks will continue to escalate. ST47 (talk) 05:40, 29 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
