User warnings edit

I saw the warning you gave the IP that vandalised the Titanic article. There are a number of warning templates that you can use for this. See WP:WARN for details. Mjroots (talk) 08:02, 29 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Yeah i was looking for a template, im glad you brought it to my attention because i cannot use Twinkle for some reason. --GeneralCheese 08:04, 29 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Your signature edit

Hello, GeneralCheese. I noticed that in your posts, you signed with a signature which includes an image. I just wanted make sure you were aware that images are expressly disallowed within your signature, for a variety of technical considerations. You may wish to consider changing your signature. Cheers, Intelligentsium 03:17, 30 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hello, i was not aware. No worries i removed the image. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Have a nice day!--GeneralCheese 03:19, 30 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for your fast response and cooperation. You may be interested to know that there is no such restriction against Unicode characters in your signature; you are free to use them in lieu of images. Cheers, Intelligentsium 03:32, 30 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
I will try to find a unicode character that matches my signature. Thanks for bringing this to my attention also.:)--GeneralCheese 03:35, 30 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

US Congresswomen edit

Hello, I was trying to make a redirect from First US Congresswoman to Jeannette Rankin, and I realized that I had made a capitalization error. Thank you for requesting deletion for me. --Astrofreak92 (talk) 06:45, 30 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Your Welcome --GeneralCheese 07:23, 30 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Rockwell Farms edit

You recently reverted an edit to Rockwell Farms where the only significant editor blanked the page. That is one instance where page blanking is allowed. It is easy with Huggle to make this mistake. I would suggest slowing down a little and evaluating what is actually happening a little better. ~~ GB fan ~~ talk 20:59, 30 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hello, i thought blanking the page without a summary is vandalism, correct?--GeneralCheese 21:01, 30 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
in most instances it it. If the only significant editor blanks their own article that is considered a request to delete and should be tagged with a db-blanked tag not reverted and warned. It is one of those exceptions to the normal rules. ~~ GB fan ~~ talk 21:08, 30 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
Well, it dosent matter anyways because the article has been tagged for deletion, i was trying to tag it for deletion on WP:HUGGLE but User:Shirik had already done so.--GeneralCheese 21:30, 30 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please be more careful edit

Hello again, GeneralCheese. I was looking through RecentChanges and I noticed this. While as a former Huggle user myself I understand how easy it is just to hit revert and move on, I'd suggest pausing a moment before clicking next. Here you removed unencyclopaedically toned but possibly good-faith edits, but restored vandalism. I appreciate your efforts to combat vandalism on Wikipedia. Keep it up! Intelligentsium 22:42, 30 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi, for some reasons on (Prev) and (cur) there was vandalism, so i was a little bit confused. Id thought of reverting and then editing it with undo. To undo the vandalism.--GeneralCheese 22:46, 30 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

I apologize edit

GeneralCheese, I am sorry if you found my comments rude. That was not my intent. To show my goodwill, I have helped out with your article on ASPIRA by adding some sources and doing some general editing. Wikipedia is a good place and you will find that I and other editors are very ready to help out. MiRroar (talk) 23:41, 30 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi again MiRroar, i accept your apolige, thank you for planning to contribute to one of my articles, i will be more than happy to contribute to yours also. Cheers,--GeneralCheese 00:13, 31 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy tagging edit

Hi. WP:CSD#A1 isn't the right tag for a very short bio like Joel Ibrahim Kreps just now - the context is clear, it's about this person. The right tag for one like that is WP:CSD#A7 "no indication of importance". If you are going to do New Page Patrol - which is a good and useful thing to do, and needs all the eyes it can get - it's important to read WP:CSD carefully; and there is good advice for speedy taggers at WP:10CSD and WP:A7M. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 17:13, 1 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Sure thing, im an autoreviwer, i should know better sorry!--GeneralCheese 17:14, 1 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
