DYK for Elwin Cockett

On 14 August 2016, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Elwin Cockett, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Elwin Cockett was chaplain to West Ham United F.C. for 20 years? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Elwin Cockett. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Elwin Cockett), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited John Klyberg, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages In the closet and National Service Act. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Harry Melville (chemist) ‎

Thanks for the biography. I was wondering how it escaped a Wikidata entry, and then saw you had just created it a few days ago. --Richard Arthur Norton (1958- ) (talk) 22:57, 17 August 2016 (UTC)

Thank you Richard Arthur Norton (1958- ) for the thanks! (Not sure what you mean by Wikidata though? I've only created his Wikipedia page; someone else made his Wikidata entry) He's a very interesting chap! Gaia Octavia Agrippa Talk 23:48, 17 August 2016 (UTC)
No wikidata at all, that is why I looked at the history of the article and saw you. I thought they were generated automatically, but I am wrong. --Richard Arthur Norton (1958- ) (talk) 00:03, 18 August 2016 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Jack Plumley, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Milton. Minor edits corrections

Thank you for your help, I'm fairly new to editing, but quite enjoy it. I placed the galleries where I did because I was modelling the pages of the Durham Colleges after the pages of the Cambridge Colleges and the Oxford Colleges. E.g. Trinity College, Cambridge has its gallery right in the middle? Anyway, I've taken note and will not repeat these mistakes. Thank you!

Also I don't understand how to leave messages on talk pages, so apologies if this is wrong, and feel free to delete this after you've read it. Frederickbertani (talk) 19:09, 31 August 2016 (UTC)

Mark Tanner

Hi Gaia. Brilliant and swift work on Tanner's bio. Just thought I'd let you know that Template:Who's Who exists. DBD 20:06, 2 September 2016 (UTC)
