Presentation edit

Would you like to make a brief presentation next Monday? Good for the class and for you for feedback! --Jfclegg (talk) 20:42, 22 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Presentation et al edit

Giuliana will be presenting time OA on Monday but you may have more to say. Find some interesting examples? A book that will be useful for you is Linebaugh's The London Hanged (based largely on the OA). --Jfclegg (talk) 12:53, 24 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

presentation edit

We need to go onto Defoe the following week... perhaps you could just present one example of an interesting issue of the OA. You dint need sources for this - just find an example or two on the web site. Alternatively, you could say something (next week or even the following one) on Defoe's attitude to the Ordinary - he was notoriously hostile (see Moll Flanders). You might get some feedback--Jfclegg (talk) 12:59, 24 October 2015 (UTC)!Reply

If it is alright with you I would prefer to look into Defoe's attitude to the Ordinary for the following week. I think it would be more interesting since I also choose to read Moll Flanders for the paper! And because, unfortunately, I will not be able to read Linebaugh's book this weekend. But I will read it for my Wikipedia entry, thank you very much for the suggestion! GMari92 (talk) 13:24, 24 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

collaboration edit

You might usefully get in touch with User talk:Federicac23 who is working in Last Dying Speeches. --Jfclegg (talk) 22:42, 25 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Time to publish edit

Hi Gmari92, I see you have been writing in your sandbox, but the Ordinary of Newgate's Account article has yet to be published. I think you should do it asap, so that other users can give you feedback and suggest you improvements or modifications. Just publish a stub, with a good lead and good references, then you can add more paragraphs along the way, you don't need to publish a full article from scratch.--Navarco (talk) 15:15, 9 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
