How to add hidden editor notes in an article

Have you ever needed to post an important message to all editors about an article, on the article itself, but thought it would stick out like a sore thumb and ruin the article if you did? Are you reverting many edits on an article because editors just aren't seeing the important message or special instructions on the talk page?

The solution is that you can insert hidden text in the article! That way, only the people editing the page will see your message! Here is how to insert a hidden comment:

1. First, begin the comment by typing <!--
2. Once you have done that, type what you need the editors to read
3. Then, end the comment by typing -->

Once you have completed those 3 easy steps, you won't be reverting as many mistakes!

For example, the following hidden comment has been used in the Meaning of life article, in the Popular views section:

<!--Please do not add 42 in this section. It is covered under the section titled "Popular culture treatments". Thank you.-->

Are you a paid editor with a conflict of interest?

Hello GGFox. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, and that you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to Black hat SEO.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

@User:Cwmhiraeth Hello. I want to say that I am not an employee of the companies that are cited in the materials I'm editing in the English, Ukrainian and Russian segments of Wikipedia. I am also not a contractor of these companies. Therefore, I have no conflict of interest. I write articles for Wikipedia and make edits to a variety of materials in order to more fully clarify the topic in different languages. My work concerns those areas where I feel that I have a tolerable level of expertise. For example, this is the history and current situation in Ukraine, the corporations of Bila Tserkva, water sports and the development of the crypto industry. In addition, I try to make edits, referring to authoritative media sources. I think that the nature of my editing, although it often concerns a narrow range of topics, but is not advertising texts. Proposed deletion of NAGA Group AG
