Welcome edit

Hello, Fry125 and welcome to Wikipedia! It appears you are participating in a class project. If you haven't done so already, we encourage you to go through our training for students.

Go through our online training for students.

If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Please also read this helpful advice for students.

Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.

Your instructor or professor may wish to set up a course page, and if your class doesn't already have one please tell your instructor about that. It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}} on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know this article is a subject of an educational assignment and aid your communication with them.

We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished! Gparyani (talk) 18:47, 23 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Question about image edit

I am trying to upload an image to a Wikipedia page. I am fairly certain that it is unlicensed but here is the link to the image.

http://www.baseball-almanac.com/players/pics/ernie_broglio_autograph.jpg I cropped out the bottom portion. But how do I add it to the "InfoBox"?

I#m afraid being "fairly certain" that an image is "unlicensed" is not good enough. We have to be absolutely certain that the actual copyright owner has given permission for anyone to use the image for any purpose, including commercial. Images that you find on the web are almost never "free" in Wikipedia's sense. For more, see Wikipedia:Finding images tutorial and Help:Contents/Browse/Images and media. Thanks for your edits to Ernie Broglio edit

Thanks for your edits to Ernie Broglio. Your work has helped move the article from stub class to start class. I appreciate the work you did back in May to add citations rather than just adding unsourced information. Welcome and keep up the good work! Bob305 (talk) 04:04, 4 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
