Speedy deletion nomination of Andy Mineo edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Andy Mineo requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Destin (talk) 18:32, 29 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

March 2013 edit

Hello. It appears that you have been canvassing—leaving messages on biased users' talk pages to notify them of an ongoing community decision, debate, or vote—in order to influence User talk:Ducknish. While friendly notices are allowed, they should be limited and nonpartisan in distribution and should reflect a neutral point of view. Please do not post notices which are indiscriminately cross-posted, which espouse a certain point of view or side of a debate, or which are selectively sent only to those who are believed to hold the same opinion as you. Remember to respect Wikipedia's principle of consensus-building by allowing decisions to reflect the prevailing opinion among the community at large. Walter Görlitz (talk) 17:15, 14 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

  • The page canvassing talks about contacting other not yet participating editors about a ongoing discussion to influence the discussion in your favour. Since User talk:Ducknish was already part of the discussion before I responded to his comments on his talk page, I do not think you can classify this as canvassing. Frontaal (talk) 09:05, 15 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
I do because you were not part of the discussion there. Walter Görlitz (talk) 13:36, 15 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • Hi Walter, thanks for clarifying. I thought I needed to respond to him by clicking on the (talk) link behind his name in the discussion. Sorry.Frontaal (talk) 15:21, 15 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for File:LoginVSI37Workloads.png edit

Thanks for uploading File:LoginVSI37Workloads.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 11:06, 28 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
