Talk on including committee and party leadership positions for senators edit

Since you're invested in the topic, just wanted to direct you to the debate currently taking place at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Politics/American politics#On organising the infoboxes of members of Congress. That WikiProject page attracts little human traffic so I'm spreading the word to interested editors. SuperWIKI (talk) 08:53, 1 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Suggestion edit

Hello. I just wanted to recommend you to "enrich" your user page somehow – for instance to add some content and userboxes that you can identify with, that describe you somehow. That way, other users would have a better perception of you. Also, as you are from India (I may be wrong about that?) I wanted to ask for your opinion about Celina Jaitly, her activism etc. I am a fan or her; sometime ago, I created this userbox about her. — Sundostund mppria (talk / contribs) 13:44, 5 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

I was interested in this for a long time but i dont know how to do it and i am bit shy about asking for help. Also thank you for the help with GoldRingChip i was planing to respond at your talk page but i was busy irl so again thanks for this . Friendlyhistorian (talk) 13:11, 7 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
As from my country of origin i am from europe not india Friendlyhistorian (talk) 13:12, 7 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Oh my bad then! For some reason, I thought that you are from India. As for your user page, just start to slowly add some material that you can relate to – write something short about yourself and your work here, add some userboxes that you like and such. Its very simple actually; and there is no reason to be shy, just ask for help when you need it. And, don't worry about being busy in real life and not responding, it's perfectly fine. — Sundostund mppria (talk / contribs) 13:33, 7 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

About List of heads of state of Greece edit

Although the change you made is clearly an improvement of the article, it is not entirely correct.

In countries with a Parliamentary republic, the choice of president is the product of consensus of all parties, not a one-party victory. D.S. Lioness (talk) 18:25, 7 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thats all and good but people are affiliated to parties almost all lists mention that . It is true that for parliamentary republics the heads of state does not matter but all lists have their political affliliation and its not cause i added it to them they existed long before i started editing so they should be there in my view Friendlyhistorian (talk) 20:30, 7 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
But we should mentions when the head of state is ceremonial cause it can legit lead to confusion Friendlyhistorian (talk) 20:31, 7 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
I known that is a common practice. Just mention some thoughts. A broader consensus would be needed for such a change. 👍 D.S. Lioness (talk) 17:38, 8 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
