Genres edit

Hi, you may be interested in taking a look at Wikipedia:WikiProject Music/Music genres task force. Cheers -- (talk) 16:52, 15 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

In response to your feedback edit

Hi Freddy... There are a couple of things to remember... First, there is no 'Wikipedia' that deletes edits!  :) Changes are made by any editor just like you. Second, there are different opinions about what is 'correct' and what is not. Perhaps another editor did not agree with your edits. That's ok. If you feel strongly about them, you can put that information on the article's 'talk' page and you and other editors can discuss and hopefully reach a consensus. You have as much right to state your case for a change as anyone else on Wikipedia! That's what makes it cool.

If I can help with anything, please feel free to let me know. Just click "Talk" after my name and leave me a message. :)

November 2013 edit

Please refrain from changing genres, as you did to Vinnie Vincent Invasion, without providing a source and without establishing a consensus on the article's talk page first. Genre changes to suit your own point of view are considered disruptive. Thank you. ChakaKongLet's talk about it 23:51, 29 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

May 2014 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. I have noticed that some of your recent genre changes have conflicted with our neutral point of view and verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you seek consensus for certain edits by discussing the matter on the article's talk page. Thank you. Walter Görlitz (talk) 17:47, 21 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for persistent disruptive editing. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 15:17, 3 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Whitesnake. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Please do not remove cited genres and replace them with uncited ones. Binksternet (talk) 15:20, 28 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

  • As you must have expected, you have been blocked again, this time for much longer. You have repeatedly been told about the issue, over a period of nine months, but yo choose to ignore all messages about it. Wikipedia is a collaborative project, and when we disagree with other editors, we explain our reasons, discuss the issues, and try to reach agreement. We do not simply ignore what everybody else thinks, and keep on doing what we individually prefer. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 19:49, 31 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

November 2014 edit

Zana edit

Ostalocutanje (talk) 20:44, 7 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

February 2015 edit

Please refrain from changing genres, as you did to TNT (band), without providing a source or establishing a consensus on the article's talk page first. Genre changes to suit your own point of view are considered disruptive. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 17:33, 17 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

March 2015 edit

This is the final warning that you will receive regarding continued genre changing without discussion or sources. If you choose to continue, as you did at Glenn Medeiros, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. April 2015 edit

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you change genre in pages without discussion or sources, as you did at Heart over Mind (Jennifer Rush album). You have been told repeatedly that "adult contemporary" is not a musical genre. It is a radio format. Do not put adult contemporary in the genre parameter of infoboxes.
