Personal opinions on Wikipedia

edit

Talk pages are intended for discussing improvements to Wikipedia articles, they are not a forum for general discussion of an article's subject. This is stated explicitly at the top of Talk:Jeroen Dijsselbloem. Please see Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not for more information.

Opinions may be added to a Wikipedia article, when they are relevant, have a reference to a published source, and are displayed as opinions. For instance, a relevant opinion of a prime minister could be quoted from a newspaper interview. However, the personal opinions of Wikipedia editors have generally no place in the article or on the talk page. A statement like "The last two should be banished from public office forever." is not an encyclopedic fact, but a personal opinion and potentionally harmful to people involved. Please also consider Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons.

Therefore I had decided to hide (though not remove) your comments from the initial view of the talk page. Taking in consideration your subsequent comments, I stand by that decision. — Editør (talk) 10:53, 5 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
