March 2023 edit

  Hello, I'm Schazjmd. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Muhoozi Kainerugaba, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Schazjmd (talk) 17:04, 17 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

  Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Muhoozi Kainerugaba, you may be blocked from editing. Removal of sourced content and addition of unsourced content is disruptive. Schazjmd (talk) 18:42, 17 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Introduction to contentious topics edit

You have recently been editing articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles, which has been designated a contentious topic. This standard message is designed as an introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially-designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
refrain from gaming the system.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

Sir! edit

not sure if this is where I respond, have never had anyone question my edits since 1998

This page has been vandalized by political opponents of Muhoozi and those that accuse him of wrongdoing with zero evidence. Most of these edits have been very recent and presented the facts, except all this "Controvercy" and "Twitter Use" sections which are libelous/sladerous content forbidden on Wikipedia. Tweets are not source references My source for my Family edits is Muzoozi's birth certificate Klupper is a Dutch Political Activist, Olaraa seems to be a NRM Uganda Government operative

Muhoozi is opposed to the continued rule by Museveni and his NRM Party Junta yet is he is still Commander of UPDF Land Forces and Commander of SFC which was formed for Muhoozi in 2008 to protect Lake Albert Basin Oil Fields or the people of Uganda and end the "Conflict Minerals" issues in the DRC

Me? I am interested in the truth and not to have a world respected General and Diplomat fellow Ugandan have his Wikipedia page be trashed. False allegations are about the worst thing I can imagine being on anyone's page and that any of it is allowed at all is morally disgusting Flybert (talk) 17:54, 18 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

I am not a sir. On Wikipedia, it's safer to use account names than to assume a specific gender. Also, Wikipedia was not launched until 2001.
If you believe there is content in the article that is improperly or inadequately sourced, please start a discussion on the article's Talk page.
Sources need to be published, reliable, and preferably independent. Per WP:BLPPRIMARY, public records are not appropriate sources.
If you have questions about editing, WP:TEAHOUSE is a helpful venue. Schazjmd (talk) 19:26, 18 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
sorry about the gender presumption Flybert (talk) 01:15, 20 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
