ZX Spectrum edit

Hi. I came across this article and found it painfully patronising having to be told how to pronounce the letters in the name. I edited them out but was reverted, and then after I rereverted I noticed this had been discussed on the talk page, so I reverted myself. However, I would bring up this point with you: first of all, while it may be entirely correct to put the 'original British branding' pronounciation of the ZX in the article, I would dispute the idea that it is actually important. As was discussed on the talk page, it has not been sourced that pronouncing ZX any other way than Zed Ex was actually discouraged by Sinclair; therefore I would say there is no merit in clarifying the original pronounciation, because there is no pronounciation is in fact incorrect. --92.26.54.27 (talk) 04:35, 12 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Aside from the numerous foreign adverts pronouncing it as Zed X Spectrum? It is a British product, where it was pronounced that way. There have been multiple products and companies over the years that are pronounced in the way of the original nations pronunciation. Plus if you read, it's stated how it was originally pronounced in it's home country, you can't counter-argue that. --FirecrackerDemon (talk) 21:51, 13 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
