Hi Firecircle. Welcome. Thanks for creating Category:Atlantology. Are you aware of the existence of Category:Atlantis? Hello FayssalF. I thought maybe a category named "Atlantology" would outline some of the methodology used by various Atlantologists in their research on the subject, e.g., underwater archeology, etc. I wouldn't care to start such a category myself, but it would be different from the general topic of Atlantis. One approach to fill in such a category might be to list several Atlantologists (such as Graham Hancock, Jacques Collina-Girard, Ignatius Donnelly, H. S. Bellamy, Lewis Spence, R. Cedric Leonard, Charles Berlitz, David Zink, etc.) and include (or get someone to create) the Wikipedia's articles (some of which already exist) on these individuals. What do you think? Firecircle (talk) 01:02, 6 January 2008 (UTC) I took it upon myself to clean up an article named Bimini Road, adding references where needed, correcting non-factual information which had remained for more than six months, and added several paragraphs (in my own words) from the description of the original discoverer in his original published account. {{helpme}} Yes, I'm enjoying being a contributor to Wikipedia, but I just ran into trouble on the Saul article. I used the usual "ref" format (which created the usual [1] in the text; but the reference did not appear in the reference section when clicked on. Instead it went to the Table of Contents. (The reference was John Bright's "A History of Israel"). I noticed the reference section is not using numbers.Firecircle (talk) 22:38, 30 March 2008 (UTC)

<ref></ref> references don't display automatically. You need to put <references/> in the 'references' section of the article to make the notes display there. Algebraist 21:40, 31 March 2008 (UTC)

Wikifying with links

I note that you are adding numerous internal links to articles. Some of your edits are not consistent with WP style guidelines. Eteinne Drioton Article

Notzrim Article

I saw several notices indicating that the Notzrim needed improvements in clarification and references, so I have worked it over extensively. After a week or so, I took it upon myself to remove the complaining notices. If I have overstepped the boundries, please let me know here or on the talk page of that article. Thanks. Please stop. If you continue to blank out or delete portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did to Talk:R. Cedric Leonard, you will be blocked from editing. Doug, I believe I know what you are refering to now. I had suggested that it might be better if I removed the whole R. Cedric Leonard article, and didn't get an answer right away. At the time, I presumed the author of an article might have that right, but I have been set straight on the rules now. I need to check "my talk" a little more often. I guess when I get a notice that I have a message, it will appear here on "my talk". Is that correct? I'm not malicious, just still learning. I am enjoying being an editor on Wikipedia--I just added a reference to the Vimanas article concerning the Pushpaka Car. Firecircle (talk) 04:27, 18 May 2008 (UTC)

Yes, that's correct, when you get a notice about a message, it will appear here. I'm sure you aren't malicious, and we all have a lot to learn. I've put some stuff on the Leonard talk page that might interest you, I hope. No problem. And thanks for answering to extensively concerning reliable sources. I can imagine what a chore it must be to attempt an online encyclopedia, such as Wikipedia. I'm glad I figured out the message format. I feel bad about putting Leonard in the Wikipedia as it turned out. I think I did him more harm than good.
