No problem...

If you need any more help or advice, feel free to contact me. Like I said, don't be discouraged - just work on making a couple of thousand edits, and try again in a few months. WaltonAssistance! 19:23, 22 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

OK. I'll add the adoptee userbox to your page for you. WaltonAssistance! 19:43, 22 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
I'd also suggest removing the {{wikify}} tag from your userpage - that tag is only meant to be used for articles. WaltonAssistance! 19:51, 22 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

EU Barnstar

I think the new proposal looks good. From what I understand, awards don't need any "approval", so I think you should be free to notify whomever (maybe the Wikipedia:WikiProject European Union about its existence, and then they can start awarding it. Good work. John Carter 17:44, 30 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

The new proposal is somewhat redundant to Image:GDBarnstar1.png, but I think that there is probably more than enough cause to create it, given the number of barnstars for specific projects which still await creation. If you can think of any designs for the various national WikiProjects listed at Wikipedia:WikiProject Council/Directory/Geographical, I'm sure that any projects which don't have them would be quite happy to receive one. Keep up the good work! John Carter 18:57, 30 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Barnstars

Yes, good work. I'm not particularly involved with barnstars and awards, however, so I might not be the best person to ask for an opinion. WaltonAssistance! 18:40, 30 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Teddington Protection

I would say probably from unregistered and newly registered users. Alexllew 21:48, 31 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

AfD nomination of Cullen FC

I've nominated Cullen FC, an article you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but in this particular case I do not feel that Cullen FC satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion; I have explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Cullen FC and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Cullen FC during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. - MTC 17:04, 1 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Editcount

I've put the userinfo template on your userpage for you. This means that a link to "edit count" will appear at the top of your page. Click that, and your edit count will be automatically calculated using a tool that we call "Wannabe Kate" (don't ask me where the name comes from, I have no idea). As of today, you've made 308 edits. Create a new barnstar

I have noticed that you like to design barnstars. I would like you to help me create a barnstar for translation. Design and layout are totally open for discussion. Thanks. OhanaUnited 09:39, 3 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

A good design would be something that presents translation. However, Wikipedia:Translation doesn't really have any image significant to present translation. I'll go ask at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Awards OhanaUnited 12:59, 3 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
We can't use that design because it'll upset others because their national flag is not used. National flag image can be used as award only for local focus WikiProjects. OhanaUnited 13:08, 3 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
How about... use Image:ISO 639 Icon en.svg but without "en". Only the blue brackets. OhanaUnited 13:24, 3 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
Image:Translation Barnstar.png doesn't look too good. Barnstar should be the main image, the blue brackets should be superimpose on top of it (e.g. Image:Environmental Barnstar.png). Also, have you considered using a higher quality barnstar image? Try use Image:Original Barnstar.png as the barnstar. OhanaUnited 13:47, 3 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
Looks good. I'll put this barnstar up. OhanaUnited 14:42, 3 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

I'm not admin, althought I wanted to. OhanaUnited 15:11, 3 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

I put it in Wikipedia:Other awards OhanaUnited 15:27, 3 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

UEFA_Euro_2008#Qualifying_groups

Well, if you think the tables look better on a single vertical line, then I think they should be fully displayed and not like they are now. Because as they are now, it's better to have then more condensed like I had put them before. Don't you think? Parutakupiu talk || contribs 15:56, 6 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

If those tiebreaking explanations are present in all the pages where the templates are, then perhaps it is better to include them in the templates. Parutakupiu talk || contribs 20:12, 6 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
Hey. Have you seen the latest discussion on Talk:UEFA Euro 2008? Chandler's argument is convincing. If there is a proper article for the qualifying phase, why should we almost duplicate its content in the tournament's main article? That's why I've remade my position and think it's better to leave the groups table in their smallest form in UEFA Euro 2008 and fully expanded on the qualifying articles. The way it is, it's practically the same as transcluding the whole qualifying article into a section of the main article. Parutakupiu talk || contribs 17:37, 7 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
Hmmm. Then there should be no need for having an expanded conditional option, if the minor version of the standings table won't be used anywhere. My idea was to have all shortened group standings tables on the main article, side-by-side (as far as width allows it). The basic thing is for viewers to see the points a team has (most important) and if they wish to see more detailed info, they go to the qualifying page. Euro 2008 FAC

Hi. I just noticed you tried to make UEFA Euro 2008 become a featured article. Obviously, your request was denied and the FAC nomination was speedily closed. This article is about a future sport event and will, therefore, change a lot until the summer of 2008 is over, so there's no chance this article will be stable enough to become FA. Read the page WP:FACR to know how an article needs to be to become a good candidate to FA ;) (Oh, and before an FAC it's always better to have it go through a peer review to let others analyze and find errors and suggest additions/corrections).

As it is, it has a long way to go and develop before achieving that status. So let's wait until the Euro is over. Cheers. Parutakupiu talk || contribs 01:19, 11 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, don't fell bad about it, when the tournament is over, and the article is of high quality and stable, it might be possible. So good luck over the next year or so. Gran2 06:30, 11 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Well, thanks for the info! I appreciated it. Cheers!! -Zacharycrimsonwolf 13:36, 13 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Re RfA Success

There are no fixed standards, but generally you need at least 2500 edits, with 3000-4000 being preferable. You also need a variety of different types of edits; some RfA voters like to see a lot of article-writing, others like to see participation in Articles for deletion and in fighting vandalism. If you want to know more, I suggest you hang around WP:RFA for a while and look at which candidates are succeeding, and which are failing. This will help you to get an idea of what you need to do. Re:Suggestion

Why and which article are you talking about? Buc 06:28, 17 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Ok, why? Buc 16:07, 17 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

I don't think so. Not yet anyway. The deadline isn't for over two mounths. Buc 19:30, 17 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Rugby league in England

Thanks for your feedback.

I've removed the computer games section following advice from a peer. The rugby league nines section will be expanded but I don't think that creating a Rugby league nines in England would be appropriate as there aren't really enough tournaments to justify such an article.GordyB 14:53, 18 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

I've put a lot of work in on the article. Have a look and see what you think now.GordyB 18:02, 21 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Barnstar idea

I remember you saying that you would be interested in knowing which national projects don't have a barnstar yet. I'm in the process of putting the directory of national projects together, and will hopefully be able to get back to you with a list sometime soon. However, there is one barnstar which I think would be useful, but which I personally don't have a clue for design or image for. I am right now trying to restart the Wikipedia:WikiProject Terrorism, and would love to see an award which the project could give out. Unfortunately, like I said, I haven't a clue what it might look like. If you have any thoughts on it, or if you want to give a try to designing one, I would be very appreciative. Thanks for your attention, and I hope to get you the national project list hopefully by the end of the week. John Carter 16:53, 19 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

UEFA Edit summary

I have found that: Image:UEFA logo.svg, which you have used in User:Chaza93/Editor. This image is a non-free image. Therefore, when there are other uses of this image, on Wikipedia or elsewhere, [there may be] may be copyright infringement. The image should really only be used on the UEFA article, not on other templates to be used in talk pages. This text is taken from Template:Non-free logo. I have therefore removed this image from the template. I hope you understand my reasoning. --TheTallOne 20:44, 20 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Barnstar

I think you received a barnstar at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Awards#Barnstars : New OhanaUnitedTalk page 13:22, 23 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Are you familiar with HTML codes? Signature is a mixture of wikicode and HTML. It's hard to make one without good knowledge of either one. You have understand both to make nice signature. You should also follow the rules as written in Wikipedia:Signatures OhanaUnitedTalk page 16:12, 23 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

FIFA vandal

72 hours. You can check how long by going to Special:Contributions/Name of user and clicking 'Block log' at the top. Also, you're missing a </small> tag in your sig, you might wanna fix it ;) Cheers, Riana (talk) 19:08, 24 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hmmm, I don't know, I've only just met you! :) I'll have a look over your contributions tomorrow and let you know, k? :) Cheers, Riana (talk) 19:12, 24 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

RE template Champion's league finals

No problem for me I just copy the modifications others had done just like putting the club flags and not the countries'ones.

However could you just modify the template and not all the page please ;) And the statistics have nothing to do on the main page they have their own article. It's the same with all sport articles because with all stats they will be too long ;) --Mrpouetpouet 20:55, 24 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Country projects without barnstars

There are a lot of WikiProjects associated with specific countries which do not yet have awards for contributions to content related to the project. These include:

Some of these might have barnstars already made where I didn't see them, so if you want to create a barnstar for them, it might be a good idea to ask on the project talk page first. In general, though, I think most of them would probably be very grateful. Good luck. John Carter 17:31, 26 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Your signature

Um, I don't know if you intended for this, but your signature [[User:DarkFalls|<font color="black" face="Trebuchet MS">Chaza]]<font color="green">[[User talk:Chaza93|<font color="green" face="Trebuchet MS">93]] is missing a </font> at the end. As it is currently, it makes all subsequent text on a page green until the font is forced to change. It also links to the userpage of a different user. Someguy1221 04:42, 10 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Oh, never mind. I see your latest sig fixed both of these. Cheers. Someguy1221 04:44, 10 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
You're welcome. Someguy1221 21:55, 11 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Reply on Euro 2008

When I posted on the talk page all they had done was basically copy and paste the qualifying page on to it. It is much better now and it should be kept with the simple tables for easy reference. --Differentgravy 18:24, 12 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Your very kind offer

Of a barnstar for Wikiproject Cambodia sounds excellent! Basing it on a Cambodia shaped medal sounds interesting - go for it! Thanks again, Paxse 18:49, 12 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
