World Net Enterprises edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of World Net Enterprises, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.defenseproducts101.com/contact.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 20:21, 28 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Articles for deletion nomination of World Net Enterprises, Inc. edit

I have nominated World Net Enterprises, Inc., an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/World Net Enterprises, Inc.. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Huntster (t @ c) 21:54, 8 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

(Copied from the deletion page) Indeed, I also appreciate Mr. Finley communicating with us here. I'll reiterate Melanie's statement: it needs reliable sourcing and a clearer attempt at communicating why the company is independently notable. Please note that this is not saying your company is unimportant, just that it may not meet the criteria for inclusion here. Also Mr. Finley, if the result of this discussion is deletion, I would be more than happy to move the article into your "namespace" (aka, something like User:Finley500/World Net Enterprises) so you can continue to improve it at your leasure, if you would like that to happen. Also, there is a group on Wiki call the WP:Article Rescue Squadron, who are experienced and often willing to help "rescue" articles from deletion, where possible. You may want to read that page and ask there for help. Huntster (t @ c) 02:27, 10 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
Also, I appreciate that you've tried to make the article as 'normalised' as possible by basing it off other company articles, and I hope you aren't discouraged by this deletion nomination. Again, I'll be happy to move the article here (if deleted) if you want to continue working on it. While companies of questionable notability do have articles here (and I'm sure you seen some pretty poor articles out there in your searches), often the reason they still exist is because no one has yet tried to have them removed.
Wikipedia editors tend to come down harder on company articles (and biographies, for that matter) than other types because of a widely-held concern over self-promotion. Personally, I don't believe it is always a bad thing when a company writes their own article, if it is done in a tasteful and neutral fashion, but all too often that proves difficult for new editors. I appreciate that you've tried to do exactly that with your article...maintain a level of neutrality in the wording. Huntster (t @ c) 02:39, 10 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
