February 2012 edit

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Please make sure to include an edit summary. Please provide one before saving your changes to an article, as the summaries are quite helpful to people browsing an article's history. Thanks!   Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to The Four Major Rivers Project, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. In particular, you removed a large section of text without explanation in an edit summary or on the article's talk page. In doing this you also removed all the cited references from the article. Wikipedia relies upon material that has been previously published in reliable sources. If you wish to remove such a large piece of text again, it would be better to discuss your proposal on the talk page first. Thank you. Astronaut (talk) 13:36, 21 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at The Four Major Rivers Project. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Astronaut (talk) 11:55, 22 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at The Four Major Rivers Project, you may be blocked from editing. Astronaut (talk) 09:04, 23 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Really, if you want to change the article contents, you need to discuss your proposals on Talk:The Four Major Rivers Project. I urge you to communicate so we can all reach consensus on how best to word the article. But continuing to simply remove referenced content without explanation will result in you being blocked from editing. Astronaut (talk) 09:04, 23 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at The Four Major Rivers Project, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Astronaut (talk) 13:21, 23 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

This is NOT how Wikipedia works. Wikipedia is a collabrative effort and major changes to an articles text needs to be discussed, especially if you remove all referenced criticism of the subject. As I said before you were blocked: continuing to simply remove referenced content without explanation will result in you being blocked from editing (again). File permission problem with File:Four River Site Map.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Four River Site Map.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 16:09, 8 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
