I really don't see what you hope to accomplish on Philomena, other than getting blocked for violations of the three revert rule, WP's policy on copyright material, and massive disregard for NPOV. Please familiarise yourself with these before continuing to revert. Alai 16:51, 8 September 2005 (UTC)

Chararactising my reverts to the consensus, non-copy-vio, non-3rr-breaking version as "vandalism" doesn't make that the case. I once again invite you to read (and comply with) the policies I've cited. In the mean time, having done my statutory three reverts, I'll let someone else continue (and presumbly, block you, too). Agreed - I was about to make the same block. When you return, I'd recommend that you familiarize yourself with Wikipedia:Policies and not be too over-protective of pages. Most of the editors who have reverted the article are trusted Wikipedians and corrected legitimate NPOV concerns to the article. In addition, most Wikipedians (including the ones involved here) have a history of making such pages better. We are seeking to improve articles, not destroy them. I realize that this is a faith based topic, but Wikipedia has no place for non-neutral terms that were used. In addition, rather than taking the bulk of the information from one source, try to branch out and use multiple sources. If you feel the need to have an article stay the same as what you want, I'd recommend beginning your own Wiki or web site that you can have sole control of. Welcome aboard and happy editing. Thanks for uploading Image:Filomena holy card.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL-self}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. evrik, I cannot figure out how to reply to you, thanks for the invite, unfortunately, the only saint I have actually researched is Saint Philomena; I am not qualified to offer credible facts on any of the others. But, again, thanks for the invite!

Signing comments on Talk pages

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you!

Oh, and don't forget to start new sections at the end of the page, not at the beginning. The easiest way to do that is perhaps to click on the "new section" tab at the top of the Talk page. Lima (talk) 15:04, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
