Speedy deletion nomination of Ellen McGrattan edit

Hello Fibrouscashew81,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Ellen McGrattan for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source, probably infringing copyright.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to rewrite it in your own words, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Hello! I just wanted to drop a note explaining the templated message above. Your recent contributions to Ellen McGrattan appear to be copy/pasted directly from her page on the Minneapolis fed website. Unfortunately, since text on Wikipedia is freely licensed for re-use, we cannot accept copyrighted text on the encyclopedia. This case is admittedly a bit of a grey area since works of the United States Federeal Government are in the public domain, but the fed website (linked above) seems to claim that the text is copyrighted and that it is not a work of the Minneapolis fed (see the banner at the bottom). For more on copy/pasting in Wikipedia, see Wikipedia:Copying text from other sources.
All that said, Ellen McGrattan is almost certainly a notable topic deserving of a Wikipedia page. If you could start over, being careful not to take text from other websites, that would be great. If you need help getting started, please reach out at WP:TEAHOUSE, where experienced editors would be happy to help. Alternatively, you can ask me questions here or at my talk page. I'm sorry to come as the bearer of bad news, but I hope all is well! Happy editing! Ajpolino (talk) 21:04, 24 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
Pinging @Lukebaseball3: who also worked on the page and appears to have copied a paragraph from the same source. Please be careful to avoid this in the future. Best, Ajpolino (talk) 21:06, 24 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
