Thank you for uploading Image:Rayleigh wave.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

Wiccan

Hey! :D Disinclination 21:43, 9 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but last time I checked, you have to be 18 to be a Wiccan. Given it's an orthopraxy and it's a fertility initiatory religion and all. Starmenclock, you're not 18 yet. (Feldoon 14:41, 28 May 2007 (UTC))Reply

Last time I checked it was 16. I have several books that state that 16 is the age. :P Still I believe in the process of it, and I am a year away from being 18 (yes I turn 17 very soon) OBEY STARMAN 00:04, 31 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Age of majority is 18 in your country though, last I checked. Still, go search for a coven and then tell me the name of the Lord and Lady damnit! I wanna know. (Feldoon 22:18, 2 June 2007 (UTC))Reply

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Yoshirun.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Yoshirun.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. Image copyright problem with Image:Starmenclock.gif

Thank you for uploading Image:Starmenclock.gif. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you created this image yourself, please look at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#For image creators, select one of those tags, and add it to the image. New proposed Nintendo Barnstar image

I posted this in the WikiProject Nintendo talk page but since you created the original, and decided on the current 'winner' Barnstarman, I thought I'd come right to you. I created a new image that is more in line with the standard barnstar look, yet keeps the starman motif.

Please consider it for official use as the WP:PUA. Thanks Jmeriot 16:08, 14 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Your Wikihalo

In the process of bringing Wikihalo back to life, I'm checking for "illegally" awarded Wikihalos. A wikihalo can be awarded only by a discussion at its page, not by a single user. However, it seems that many users haven't understood this, and have awarded wikihalos without a proper nomination and so on.

I've discovered that you're displaying a wikihalo, but I haven't found the discussion related to it. Only five people have received a wikihalo (and one of 'em dubiously), and you aren't listed as one of 'em.

So, I'm very sorry, but unless you provide the link to the discussion, I have to ask you to remove the award from your userpage and/or any other page on which you are displaying it.

If you could point me to the diff with it was awarded to you, I can try to discover what's behind it ;-)

Thank you for your cooperation and happy editing,

Fair use rationale for Image:WWmike.gif

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:WWmike.gif. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ShakespeareFan00 12:18, 23 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Image:Celice.jpg

I have tagged Image:Celice.jpg as {{no rationale}}, because it does not provide a fair use rationale. Please also consider using {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. Thank you. Unspecified source for Image:Andovermascot.gif

Thanks for uploading Image:Andovermascot.gif. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 02:15, 1 July 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Nv8200p talk 02:15, 1 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:LINK SPECIAL.jpg

What's your problem?

Gee, thanks for the great reasons why my edit was unconstructive. Listen, it says right on the Smash Bros. site the song is only in Japanese and English. I provided that in my edit summary. By the way, I'm already quite familiar with how Wikipedia works. Now stop wasting my time or I'll have to report you for your boorish bullying. I've seen how you treat other users. This is not your site. 75.152.155.200 18:15, 9 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

My god, do you have lack any reading comprehension skills?

"Smash Bros. Dojo is being unveiled worldwide in 6+1 languages."

See where it says SMASH BROS. DOJO and not THE SONG?

"On the pages for the other languages, you can enjoy a version for which the Treehouse at Nintendo of America recorded the vocals."

Learn to read. There is a Japanese version, and a version with vocals by Treehouse at Nintendo of America. It says absolutely nothing about versions in other languages on ANY of the pages. How you came to your conclusion is beyond me. YOU'RE the one who is speculating by saying they could be placeholders. Now leave me alone unless it's about something important or an apology for wasting my time with your ignorance. Any further arguing from you will just further prove your poor reading skills. 75.152.155.200 19:26, 9 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

It also didn't confirm it is only Japanese and English either. :P OBEY STARMAN 20:04, 9 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

I thought I said to leave me alone. I never said it confirmed it was in only English and Japanese. I said IT NEVER SAID IT WAS IN THE OTHER LANGUAGES. YOU were the one speculating by claiming that it was. Someone wrote that it was being translated into 6 languages when that was never stated and I removed it. The issue has been resolved on the page anyway, now that your senseless reverts have ended. Now STOP MESSAGING ME. 75.152.155.200 20:21, 10 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
