June 2010 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit that you made to the page Rick Hall has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Please use the sandbox for testing any edits; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing for further information. Thank you. 5 albert square (talk) 22:39, 30 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did to Rick Hall. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Ghmyrtle (talk) 22:41, 30 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did with this edit to Rick Hall. Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Favonian (talk) 22:50, 30 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your message on my talk page. However, you seem to misunderstand what Wikipedia is. I suggest you read some of the introductory guidance which is highlighted in the welcome message that I've added above. In particular, all information needs to be referenced from reliable independent sources, and set out a neutral point of view. It should also avoid conflicts of interest, which will arise when articles are edited by an individual who is, or is closely related to, the subject of the article. Having said that, we also have clear guidance on the biographies of living people. If you or your father are concerned about any of the information in the current article, please raise it on that article's talk page here, and also read and follow the advice here. Also, when leaving messages, please sign them with four tildes, thus: ~~~~. Thank you. Ghmyrtle (talk) 22:58, 30 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

February 2018 edit

Hello, I'm Oshwah. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to Jason Isbell because they seemed inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thanks. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 23:15, 11 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
