Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Draft:Urban photography, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. The meaning of "street photography" has been fluid. It's often applied to photography that's more or less in the spirit of Cartier-Bresson, Frank, Winogrand and so forth but carried out not in the street but instead on the beaches, in the countryside or indoors. These days it's less often applied to the work of, say, Berenice Abbott; but it certainly has been so applied. I suspect that it would be easy to find reliable sources that would extend "street photography" to include Tony Ray-Jones but not Abbott; and would put Abbott and perhaps much of the work of René Burri in "urban photography". Best tip is to depend on reliable sources for this: as so many books can be "borrowed" from the Internet Archive, this shouldn't be too difficult. -- Hoary (talk) 23:33, 24 June 2023 (UTC)
