Speedy deletion of Dallon Weekes edit

Hello Factoidmactoid, this is a message from an automated bot to inform you that the page you created, Dallon Weekes, has been marked for speedy deletion by User:SluggoOne. This has been done because the page seems to be about a person, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant (see CSD). If you think the tag was placed in error, please add "{{hangon}}" to the page text, and edit the talk page to explain why the page should not be deleted. If you have a question about this bot, please ask it at User talk:SDPatrolBot II. If you have a question for the user who tagged the article, see User talk:SluggoOne. Dallon Weekes edit

Hi there. Before I attempt to revert your edit again on Dallon Weekes, I want to show you why the info is completely relevant to Weekes' recruitment. You say that the info I added is info on Panic's past when it isn't at all. Ross and Walker left the band and Weekes was a replacement for their tour for Pretty. Odd. That info is not irrelevant at all as it gives more in depth info on why and when Weekes was recruited. None of the info I added was about Panics past as it all has to do with Weekes. Please to do not revert anything until an agreement is reached here. Hope to hear a response. "Hey there! How's it goin'?" 02:28, 6 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Dallon Weekes II edit

Since you have yet to respond to my previous comment and have once again reverted my edit. I will explain how all of the info I am adding is completely relevant.

  • For the addition of Ryan Ross and Jon Walker to Weekes' article, this is relevant due to the fact that Weekes was their immediate replacement after they left. Due to their departures, Weekes was hired.

It is relevant to Panic at the Disco history and should be on that page only. Since this is a Dallon Weekes page, ANY and all events prior to his actual hiring are irrelevant to Dallon Weekes.

  • As for Pretty. Odd., this is also relevant as this was the time Weekes was hired. Ross and Walker left and Weekes was hired, all during their tour for Pretty. Odd.

Although the info about Ross and Walker happened before Weekes' recruitment, it states why and when he was recruited.

Happened before Dallon, therefore, irrelevant to this page. Perfectly relevant to Panic!s history page.

Why? Because Ross and Walker left. Happened before Dallon, therefore, irrelevant to this page. Perfectly relevant to Panic!s history page.

When? During Pretty. Odd. Happened before Dallon, therefore, irrelevant to this page. Perfectly relevant to Panic!s history page.

Sorry, but you're wrong to post any of this info on a page about Dallon Weekes and his history. By your logic, one could post about 'Fever' era Panic, because those events led to walker being hired. Any and all P!ATD events that may have happened prior to Dallon being hired are unarguably irrelevant to Dallon Weekes history.

I'm not even sure if you'll respond to this as it doesn't seem you're very active, but I can hope that you will respond as I do not want to further any edit war. Sekyaw (talk) 14:16, 18 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Im sorry, but adding prior panic history to Dallons page is a mistake. even with a reference, previous panic history is irrelvant to his page. Otherwise why not add how his mom and dad met? By your logic, that info is needed. but that would be irrelevant information as well. Ryan Ross, Jon Walker and Pretty Odd is panic at the disco history prior to Weekes involvement. Dallons history with panic began in 2009 with his hiring. Any other information should be left to the Panic! At The Disco wiki page.

@Factoidmactoid: There is currently a discussion on the matter at Talk:Dallon Weekes#Pretty. Odd., where a third opinion states that if there is a given reference, then the info I added is a valid conclusion. I am going to stop reverting your edits as of now, because it is obvious now that you will continue to remove the info. I will let the current discussion continue and wait until it is closed. But, I really hope you understand that my addition is not because it happened before Weekes' recruitment, but because it is the reason he was recruited, which makes it relevant and a valid conclusion. Thanks. Sekyaw (talk) 23:56, 5 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

As of now, the matter has been resolved, as there has been an RfC discussion stating that the info is indeed relevant and should be included. You can view the discussion here. Please do not revert the edit again, as it is proven relevant. Thanks. Sekyaw (talk) 22:22, 4 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Dallon Weekes.
