@I dream of horses: References to the Texas Historical Society are sound. Their articles contain references as well. The material in this article is a paraphrase of material from the Peters Colony aarticle at the Texas Historical Society site. What kind of additional references do you have in mind? - Hopefully, it isn't too close of paraphrasing, since that could cause issues with copyright.
