February 2016 edit

Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that you recently removed some content from English Democrats  with this edit, without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jim1138 (talk) 19:15, 8 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

The brief summary I gave explained the changes I made earlier.
Political opponents presume to portray the English Democrats incorrectly as "far right", citing spurious authorities ie the published opinions of others! The position of the English Democrats Party can be found in its online manifesto which I assert is the valid authority.
I should be glad if you would reinstate the changes I made.
I should point out that these are the first changes I have attempted to improve Wikipedia's fairness and accuracy, and I am not familiar with the processes involved in particular this "talk page" facility.

Please keep discussions on one page. Prefix your edit (if not on my page) with {{ping|Jim1138}} add your message, then sign with four tildes "~~~~". All needs to be saved at the same time to generate a wp:notification. This would be appreciated.
I undid your edit as you did not leave an wp:edit summary (ES). An ES is the way one should describe their reasoning for an edit. Also, you removed four citations with your edit. If the party is no longer considered fringe nor far-right, feel free to change the article. However, per wp:verifiability, please add wp:citations using wp:reliable sources. These should be secondary sources and not wp:primary such as the party's own website or blog. Thank you Jim1138 (talk) 19:52, 8 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
