Hi. I'm interested in collaborating with editors who are interested in creating and improving articles on contemporary American writers, and my other great love, Mediterranean food. Ethel&bobby (talk) 10:45, 2 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Found another pic of him at the Commons. Suitable or not? Here. Tony (talk) 12:39, 3 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
You're online! How is the article going? Tony (talk) 08:09, 10 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
Rakoff article is still tiny. Are you prepared to enlarge it? PS You interpolated your entry on my page above the previous person's sig; no big deal, but just so you're aware. Hideous RL workload at the moment, pooh. Tony (talk) 00:31, 14 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Nope. Looks like you've signed this post correctly (you may want to check out WP:INDENT though), so everything's fine. Dabomb87 (talk) 23:22, 8 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

June 2010 edit

Please do not delete content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to David Rakoff, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. I'll leave a note at "Claritas's page. Tony (talk) 14:41, 23 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
I'm going to revert you back to my last diff, because most of the content you've been removing has been encyclopaedic. The article needs to be cut down, but not that much - you need to do it with a discriminate hand. Please discuss this issue with me before you make any other edits to the articles which remove content, either here, on my talk page or on the article talk page. Thanks. Claritas § 16:06, 23 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
Sorry for not discussing this earlier and thanks for your help in making the article leaner and more useful to readers. I made some changes along the lines you suggested, and tried to explain them more adequately. Basically, I took out intrusive detail and trivial matters. I was also guided by other pages for writers that I think are of the same standing/importance. I look forward to your comments and apologise for not following the correct procedures.Ethel&bobby (talk) 02:53, 24 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

August 2010 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Ayelet Waldman has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://bad-mother.blogspot.com/. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, fansite, or similar site (see 'Links to avoid', #11), then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
