List of battles with most United states fatalities edit

Hello! You have changed the list of battles with most U.S.A. Military fatalities putting Operatio Overlord on the first spot with 34.137 killed, but I am pretty sure that estimate includes other allied countries fatalities. The casualties section of https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Overlord shows 20.688 US dead and https://pilgrimakimbo.wordpress.com/2009/06/06/the-casualties-of-operation-overloard/ shows 20.838. Secondly Operation Overlord is too “big” to be consider a battle/offensive, we can compare it with the 100 days offensive wich was a series of attacks. Making the Meuse-Argonne offensive(also known as the Battle of Argonne Forest) the deadliest battle in US history. Please correct me if I am missing something and show me your point of view so we can reach an agreement. Thanks! --Meyers guerras (talk) 17:12, 23 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Better source request for File:Camilla Hall.jpg edit

Thanks for your upload to Wikipedia:

You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the image because the source is incomplete. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact Web page where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain, search engine, pinboard, aggregator, or the URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page or me at my talk page. Thank you. ShakespeareFan00 (talk) 15:33, 27 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani/Archive1 edit

A tag has been placed on Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani/Archive1 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect from the article namespace to a different namespace except the Category, Template, Wikipedia, Help, or Portal namespaces.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Wikipedia Wars and the Israel-Palestine conflict...please fill out my survey? edit

Hello :) I am writing my MA dissertation on Wikipedia Wars and the Israel-Palestine conflict, and I noticed that you have contributed to those pages. My dissertation will look at the process of collaborative knowledge production on the Israel-Palestine conflict, and the effect it has on bias in the articles. This will involve understanding the profiles and motivations of editors, contention/controversy and dispute resolution in the talk pages, and bias in the final article.

For more information, you can check out my meta-wiki research page or my user page, where I will be posting my findings when I am done.

I would greatly appreciate if you could take 5 minutes to fill out this quick survey before 8 August 2021.

Participation in this survey is entirely voluntary and anonymous. There are no foreseeable risks nor benefits to you associated with this project.

Thanks so much,

Sarah Sanbar
