Roussy–Lévy syndrome

Hello,

I would like to let you know that I reverted all your today's edits to Roussy–Lévy syndrome.

As you might have seen, when you made your earlier edits, I went on to use this material and improve the article. Your text as you entered it should not remain in the article as it was not written in an encyclopaedic style. In particular, the following changes are very important to note:

• As evidenced by literature, the disorder is caused by a mutation in either of two genes, not just in PMP22 as you insisted.
• Neither Charcot–Marie–Tooth disease (not "Charcot-Marie tooth" as you spelled it) nor Hereditary motor and sensory neuropathy are "other names" of Roussy–Lévy syndrome.
• Definitions and long descriptions of physiotherapy, electromyography and nerve biopsy do not belong to this article. For the sake of consistency, it is advised not to come up with new definitions but instead link to respective Wikipedia articles.
• The information on symptoms appeared as spread randomly across the article. I rearranged it under appropriate headings.
• None of the pictures you introduced was relevant to Roussy–Lévy syndrome. The picture you reinserted today represents just a pair of healthy feet. What is it supposed to illustrate, please?
• Spelling and punctuation have been corrected. Note in particular that Roussy–Lévy syndrome is spelled with an en-dash, not with a colon, and gene names are italicised. It always takes a lot of effort to correct spelling and punctuation. If you do not feel like paying attention to spelling and punctuation, I suggest you prepare a draft on the Talk page for other editors to work on it. Inserting unformatted text with so many spelling errors constitutes disruptive editing and will be reverted.
• None of your references followed the style used in the article, in violation of WP:CITEVAR. One of the references was not in accordance with WP:MEDRS (it was just a meeting report, not even indexed by scientific databases).

You are definitely more than welcome to edit Wikipedia. However, my big request: please do not regard Wikipedia as a personal notebook. The articles need to adhere to a certain standard.
