The Georgia Strait

Please see Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style#Capitalization_of_.22The.22 and the paper's article is at the Georgia Strait and so putting the lower case "the" outside the link is ridiculous and goes against MOS:LINKING. Wikipedia's style guide is pretty vague about this, as far as I can see. As opposed to The Chicago Manual of Style, 16th ed., 8.168, which explicitly recommends that any initial 'the' in the titles of periodicals (journals, magazines, and newspapers) be subsumed by the surrounding text or simply dropped, depending on circumstances. But I'm not going to die on this hill. The sane way to resolve this disagreement is to capitalise the 'The' within the italicised title and be done with it. Which is what I've done.
