Welcome

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. To find out more about how to make useful contributions, take a look at the welcome page. To stay in Wikipedia, an article has to be about something notable, that is, of general interest. Click on Notability for an explanation of what that means. Also, it must give independently verifiable sources. Articles that don't meet these requirements are deleted. Follow the links below to learn more:

  1. To find out more about creating articles, read the introduction, tutorial, and the guide to creating your first article.
  2. Do not write articles about yourself, your company, your band, or your best friend - that's a conflict of interest.
  3. Wikipedia is not an advertising service.
  4. For experiments, please use the sandbox.

Speedy deletion of Erhama Al Kuwari

edit

A tag has been placed on Erhama Al Kuwari requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Citations

edit

please read WP:V regarding verifiability. If you have a citation which shows what the new sim type will be in the new expansion please provide it before continuing to make this change.--Crossmr (talk) 18:37, 13 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Because you didn't provide a citation. When a new expansion pack is announced it results in a flurry of speculation on wikipedia. I've read the blurb on the sims 2 website and didn't see medusas mentioned. If you have seen maxis confirm that these are in the game, please provide a link.--Crossmr (talk) 22:25, 15 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
Then you need to provide a link to the thread where they say this.--Crossmr (talk) 16:42, 16 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
Read WP:V and WP:RS, that is why you need a link. Its not included in the expansion pack blurb and I can't find it anywhere else obvious. If you want to include the information you need to provide the thread where the maxoid states this.--Crossmr (talk) 23:39, 16 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 09:41, 17 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

High School Musical

I've never edited High School Musical. If you have an appropriate citation for something as I indicated above, feel free to use it.--Crossmr (talk) 15:32, 17 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

"Block"

edit

Your block log shows no blocks ever to the account by me or anyone else. It's possible that I may have blocked the IP you were using. What does/did the block message say?

As I have said, you're not blocked and never have been. Not by me; not anyone else. The fact that you can edit my user talk page should be enough proof to you that you're not blocked ... you couldn't if you were. Daniel Case (talk) 04:30, 2 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

What was the IP, then? If that was the case, it might not have had anything to do with you. Daniel Case (talk) 05:33, 2 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Well, then, I can't clarify anything without knowing what the IP was. Hopefully that will be the only time you run into a block. Daniel Case (talk) 05:55, 2 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
