Hi, I took a quick look at your article and there doesn't seem to be any immediate issues with the content. It seems to meet the basic requirements of verifiability and neutrality. There's no need for special attention unless you have a specific question, in which case you can go to WP:HELP or reference desk. Hope that helps, -Reconsider! 12:26, 13 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
No problem, I think the article is ready for the mainspace. Anyways, if you're interested, you could also join WP:POLITICS. -Reconsider! 12:50, 13 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Feedback archived edit

Hi there.

A while ago, you requested feedback in WP:FEED. Because it has been a while, and you'd received at least some response there, I have now archived the replies in Wikipedia:Requests for feedback/Archive/27. Please do not edit that page though; if you require further feedback, add a new request on WP:FEED.

I am trying to clear the backlogs; it would help us a lot if you could look at the requests from other users on WP:FEED and add any comments to help them out. Anyone can respond there, so please do take a look, and comment on the articles from other people.

If you want help with anything at all, you could either;

  • Leave a message on my own talk page; OR
  • Use a {{helpme}} - please create a new section at the end of your own talk page, put {{helpme}}, and ask your question - remember to 'sign' your name by putting ~~~~ at the end; OR
  • Talk to us live, with this or this.

The last of those is particularly useful - please try it; pop in now and say hello. Best,  Chzz  ►  19:38, 31 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi Eoin. Thx for your notes re above CD article. I do intend to take another look at it for you, but am just fighting a rearguard action at the moment, to rescue my own second article ResPublica, which one other editor has nominated for deletion!
Ah - the joys of Wikipedia! But as I say, hopefully I'll be with you soonish.
As for your nation being unfortunately unrepresented due to a handball by Thierry Henry, well at least you'll not be shedding tears at France's current predicament, both in facing their own exit, & their mutiny within the ranks. Guess people get what they deserve (but I know that's scant consolation for Eire). I always support all 5 Irish/British teams, & hope they all get through & do well in each round. Thx for your good wishes re Slovenia. I wish I could say I was confident! Strange that the likes of Spain, Portugal & Germany are all losing odd games. Article National Socialist Underground: Translation, Contributions edit

Hi Eoinjones, you might be interested to see my latest edits on this article. - I've seen on the talk page there that you are working on a translation (sandbox). That's a good idea, but quite a difficult task too. Things are evolving still as new facts come to light, and the german version also has undergone several changes... (But even that is lagging behind in several aspects.) - Now, if you wish, I would like to offer my co-operation here. I'm German and closely following all the news as they come in on a dayly basis.
Since you asked for it, here are some of my ideas:

  • Date of german version at the beginning, so that we always know what we are dealing with
  • consistency/uniformity of translation for names of institutions (WP-crossreferences, where available)
  • tagging of issues that may be unclear/misunderstood by foreign readers (e.g. pecularities of german legal system as compared to anglosaxon etc.)
  • reliable sources in english are needed almost everywhere (but hard to be found)

Here's a source, that may be useful to keep track on the issues: Topic: Neo-Nazi Terror Cell - SPIEGEL ONLINE (in english, updated regularly). Please always feel free to ask, where something seems unclear/incomprehensible to you and I will explain it as best I can. And then we may put that into the translation, since that might be the case for other readers too. And of course, it would be fine, if you in turn could have a watchful eye on my language errors and glitches of style. Now, what do you think of it? Looking forward to your reply here. Best regards -- 46.115.26.127 (talk) 09:50, 8 August 2012 (UTC)(←please note: dynamic IP from a mobile, will change)Reply
PS: Does your sandbox have a talk page of it's own? If yes, then perhaps we should continue our conversation there.

Hi, thanks very much for your offer to help and for your advice. I agree that keeping the English translation up to date will be challenging. I am Irish but I have been living in Switzerland for the past few years. I read a German newspaper every day but I think the story is covered in more depth in Germany. The Tagesanzeiger have a deal with the Süddeutsche Zeitung to use their foreign news (and I have read quite a lot about the story there) but they don't republish everything. I guess I will just put the German wikipedia page on my watchlist and try to keep abreast of changes that way. I will have some holidays starting next Wednesday and will be able to devote more time to completing the draft translation then.

My sandbox has a talk page but I haven't initialised it yet. I will do that today. Thanks again for your helpful response. getoffmycloud 07:18, 9 August 2012 (UTC)

Hi, OK then our conversation will be continued there. Just left a reply. Bye -- 46.115.22.208 (talk) 21:29, 9 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
