Trash Money

Hi,

Your page wasn't "nonsense" and that's not why it was deleted. One of our criteria for speedy deletion covers articles without an assertion of notability -- CSD A7 is what it is called. This CSD exists because lots of new people get a kick out of writing an article about themselves, their mom, their friends, their dog, or their band. Sadly, these articles don't belong in an encyclopedia -- if WP gave every band on earth an article, we would run out of bandwidth fast! The deletion was nothing personal -- we get literally thousands of these articles each day; to keep up with the flow, we almost have to be a bit impersonal.

cheers for the help. i can see why it was put up for speedy deletion, but i'm afraid the page in question was not myself, my mom, my friends, my dog, or my band, but a band who are widly known, paricularly around london, containing many notable members, including two of the sneaker pimps (who there is a page for, and whos other spin off bands have pages), and members of other notable british bands. that was the only reason i did not understand why. thanks for your help, it's nice to find a friendly person on here once in a while.
