Replaceable fair use File:Face picture of Clayton Chitty.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Face picture of Clayton Chitty.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 02:18, 15 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image File:Face picture of Clayton Chitty.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Face picture of Clayton Chitty.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:21, 17 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Forever and a Day (soap opera) moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Forever and a Day (soap opera), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. The sources about Beth Ehlers joining the show were direct sources from HER wikipedia...the source about Quinn VanAntwerp joining, Benjamin Bryant (Broadcaster) used as a source on his page as he's listed on there.
The page needs to be published. We just won an award at the Indie Series Awards on April 7, 2022 that is on their website that I sourced and can be verified. Emoquinn76 (talk) 00:42, 11 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

I have used articles that were already used on other pages. This page needs to be up. Emoquinn76 (talk) 00:36, 11 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Ok first of all my name is Emily O’Quinn…I’m a transwoman. Quinn VanAntwerp is a male actor. I’m incredibly insulted you’re misgendering me.

I referenced articles from both Beth Ehlers and Ben Bryant’s page.

I will take your answer and post it on social media. This is discrimination and misgendering. I’m utterly disgusted by how I’m being treated. Emoquinn76 (talk) 14:17, 11 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello Emoquinn76, I'm sorry if I've offended you. Although I should note that I did not claim to know your gender and only referred to you as "their" and as the "primary contributor." It's not uncommon for people to create usernames that contain something related to a page they create and this often raises the question of whether or not they have a conflict of interest. This is especially true if the prose within the article is not written from a neutral point of view, contains puffery, or fancruft. I'm glad to hear that you do not have a conflict of interest, however, you'll still need to abide by Wikipedia guidelines. I believe the topic probably is notable and spent quite a bit of time improving your draft, but I think it needs a little work still before publishing it to mainspace. For instance, the majority of the article only contains descriptions of the episodes (see WP:NOTPLOT) and the remaining prose uses unnecessarily promotional wording (see WP:PROMO). If you have any questions or need further assistance with the draft feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or respond to me here. TipsyElephant (talk) 14:37, 11 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
saying that Quinn VanAntwerp, whom like you stated had you done research, is a cisgender man is me Emily OQuinn, who is a transwoman, is misgendering. Basing the fact that we both have Quinn in our name was not the right thing to do. Researching who Quinn is, finding the articles I have already submitted would have been.
Promotional! I based my page on The Bright Sessions…format and all. The only reason I didn’t add an entire character list is because I was going to later.
Beth Ehlers and Benjamin Bryant listed the show as credits on their pages I used their reliable sources I feel I’m being unfairly targeted for some odd reason. And I will most definitely take this to social media; if it’s happening to me it’s probably happening to others Emoquinn76 (talk) 14:59, 11 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Emoquinn76: my intention was not to claim you were VanAntwerp, but was instead an attempt to ask you to disclose whether or not you were VanAntwerp or someone closely associated with the person. I apologize for my mistake and will make greater efforts to avoid misgendering people. I had no intention of offending anyone, but I see that I should have been more careful in my wording. In the future, I will make an effort to be clearer that I am asking whether the person is associated with the topic rather than accusing them of such. The promotional wording I was referring to was "Broadway star," " veteran soap opera actress," "Generations alum," and "Daytime Emmy winner" all of which appears to promote the people in the production and the production itself. TipsyElephant (talk) 15:26, 11 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
1) You ASSUMED Quinn and I were the same person, you did not ask. You assumed to the point you marked the page for a speedy deletion because of conflict of interest. Saying you support the trans community and misgendering someone cancel each other out. 2) I’m literally stating their former jobs. Jonelle IS an alum of a TV soap that’s listed on Wikipedia as Beth is an alum on Guiding Light. If you look at other Wikipedia pages they do the exact same thing. 3) Wikipedia is used as a point of reference. If people wish to find out more about something they go to Wikipedia. Which sometimes turns into promotion. I’ve read about movies on here and seen the movie based on what I learned here. Or found out more about my favorite star. This is a digital Encyclopedia Britannia. I didn’t use it as a press release. I think your assessment is subjectively inaccurate and biased. Emoquinn76 (talk) 16:09, 11 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Emoquinn76: I'm sorry for misgendering you. I hope I can help you get the article published. TipsyElephant (talk) 15:30, 11 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Emoquinn76: I just noticed that you stated "We just won an award" in you prior conversation with Praxidicae. Is there a reason you used the pronoun "we" instead of saying that the show won an award? It may have just been a mistake, but I would like to double check. TipsyElephant (talk) 15:51, 11 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
Yes. I meant they. Sorry. Emoquinn76 (talk) 01:36, 12 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
I do see that I misgendered the actor Quinn VanAntwerp and I'm sorry that I made that mistake. I should have read the prose more carefully instead of assuming the person's gender based on my perception of the name. I personally support LGBTQ+ people and I attempted to publish an article about a transgender person (see Draft:Quanah Style) a while back, but I'm keeping the article in incubation until Style receives more news coverage. License tagging for File:Forever and a Day season 1.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Forever and a Day season 1.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 00:31, 12 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Oh sorry you can delete the photo. I don’t need it. Sorry about that Emoquinn76 (talk) 01:34, 12 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
The wrong photo was deleted. The season 3 logo photo was the one that should’ve been up and it was. The season 1 logo photo does not exist on their page. Emoquinn76 (talk) 17:46, 14 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
