Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. OhNoitsJamie Talk 15:26, 29 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

December 2012 edit

Thank you for your contributions. Please remember to mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Mary McAleese, as "minor" only if they truly are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. RashersTierney (talk) 12:18, 18 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Catholicism and sexuality edit

Hello Elsa - I was hoping you could clarify something for me. In this edit at Catholicism and sexuality, did you mean that the CTSA study "Human Sexuality" caused modern Catholic theologians to "hold that an act of masturbation should be judged within its life context", or showed that they held this belief already? –Roscelese (talkcontribs) 18:33, 10 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Your draft article, Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/The Jubilee Declaration edit

Hello Elsa Beek. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "The Jubilee Declaration".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/The Jubilee Declaration}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Rankersbo (talk) 13:23, 28 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for File:Wicr logo m.png edit

Thanks for uploading File:Wicr logo m.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 16:06, 13 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

File permission problem with File:John Wijngaards.png edit

Thanks for uploading File:John Wijngaards.png. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 11:04, 12 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

Please stop putting those links everywhere edit

Hello. I have noticed you tend to put a link to the front page of ten-commandments.org in many article. However, it should only be put where it is useful and where it can be considered a WP:RS. Veverve (talk) 14:15, 12 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi Veverve,

I saw your message about not leaving too many links to ten-commandments.org on various Wikipedia articles. However, it is difficult to know which link on which article would be effective. And the matter is urgent. I am very much a committed Catholic. Pope Francis has started the three-year process of Synodal Consultations which are crucial to bring about some very necessary updates as to how the Church operates. It is important that participants of the parochial and diocesan synods which have started to work are aware of the issues that need to be discussed. Please, let me know if you have constructive suggestions as to how I can reach them more effectively! Thanks. Elsa Elsa Beek (talk) 16:33, 12 January 2022 (UTC) @Veverve:

Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:41, 29 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
