Re:Australian Football (soccer) players overseas edit

No problem Sarah i will begin to update up the following by using as many sources as posible. List_of_Overseas_Australian_Football_(soccer)_Players —Preceding unsigned comment added by Elpepsinator (talkcontribs) 05:05, 23 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
That's fine; you're welcome to start working on updating and verifying the list. Please do be careful to verify entries using only sources that qualify as "reliable sources" under the sourcing guideline, see WP:RS for information about what sources are acceptable. In general, newspaper and magazine articles are good, while blogs and forum posts are not. If you are not able to find a reliable published source to verify any entries, please remove them. The Biographies of Living People policy requires quality sourcing to verify claims about living persons or the information should be removed. So if there are entries on that list that are not notable persons or are not verifiable, they need to be removed. You will find more information on the reliable sources page and if you have any questions please feel free to ask me here on this page. Please also be careful to sign your messages by typing four tildes (~~~~) Sarah 07:45, 23 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please remember to sign your talk page messages edit

As a courtesy to other editors, it is a Wikipedia guideline to sign your posts on talk pages, user talk pages, and WikiProject pages. To do so, simply add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your comments. Your user name or IP address (if you are not logged in) and the date will then be automatically added along with a timestamp when you save your comment. Signing your comments helps people to find out who said something and provides them with a link to your user/talk page (for further discussion). For further info, read Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines. Thank you. Sarah 07:48, 23 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

M.Spiranovic edit

I already told User:Tennis-star-nr.1 on his talk page that I did not object against the content of the infobox but against the format (see here the discussion about it). The same applies to your edit. Just put the information in the current infobox.

I addition, I would appreciate it if you maintain a civil tone in your messages (caps are considered shouting). --Jaellee (talk) 10:32, 31 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

The article List of Australian association football players with dual nationality has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:NOTDIR and WP:LISTCRUFT; consensus also exists that these kind of articles aren't notable, such as this AfD.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. GiantSnowman 16:46, 12 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
