Notes about deletion of Software Components OTA edit

Software Components OTA

Hi, I deleted your recent article because it did not provide independent verifiable sources that it meets the notability guidelines. It also looked like an advertisement in that it made numerous claims unsupported by reliable references. If you wish to recreate, make sure that everything you claim can be verified FROM INDEPENDENT SOURCES. Jimfbleak (talk) 21:09, 22 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

The reference looks OK, but bear in mind that there were other issues regarding the style of the article, which needs to be neutral and encyclopaedic. A reposting with just the reference added will still lead to deletion as promotional material. Jimfbleak (talk) 15:16, 23 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
My error, you're right. I should have checked the text rather than rely on my memory - sorry Jimfbleak (talk) 18:07, 23 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

I think that whether spam or not, there were a number of issues. Bolding every SCOTA and linking every FOTA looks like spam even if it isn't, the article had been tagged as uncategorised and unreferenced, and the status of the image is unclear - it can be deleted because there is no copyright licence, and no source. Without the image the article is pretty short, and assumes that readers have a level of familiarity which may not be the case. Even without spam, it's a bit borderline. Positivity versus the KNIFE edit

so heres an idea, jim bleakness.. seemingly NEW to some editors... how about building the case for an article as a strategy that is diametrically opposed to all this death and destruction attitude to anything that is less than perfect.. ask for a suitable pic with the appropriate license, i have given hundreds maybe thousands.... find some verification and include it, rewrite the bits that may stay and find some evidence out there.. oh I suppose if its licing thing with wings then it qualifies.. look I love birds too, but its all a bit much for some people to have to fight the enemy from within, surely there is enough external fighting to go and occupy yourself with????

Learn from the predator birds, like lions they pick off the weak and sick prey at the end of the flock, whatever, same across the animal world. How about some HUMANENESS, yeah the same stuff you would demand for the endangeredd feather friends, and help them too..

Get past what thinks LOOK like and see them for what they actually ARE.--00:39, 30 November 2007 (UTC)~
