Thanks to the wonders of the inter-library loans I also have a copy of this article and can see for myself that there are no raampa in there, so that's that. Eladynnus (talk) 16:31, 20 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
Sorry, we can't take your word for it. You need to provide an excerpt from the 1971 original paper. Take it to talk Saafi. Stop disrupting Serer related articles including the Serer religion article you put on speedy deletion as a logged off user. This is not helping the project. I will now take the liberty to go through all your articles and cross reference them. This just demonstrates I don't trust your edits at all including your bunch of text based on one source.Tamsier (talk) 14:23, 21 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
How can someone provide an excerpt showing that something doesn't exist. There are 3 editors at least who have this paper and none of them can find this. Tamsier, you need to show that this exists. I'm removing it from the articles until you can show that we are wrong. Maybe you can, but it's up to you do do it. I'd already started a discussion at Talk:Saafi people#Deleted material on Serer Symbols so I suggest that as the best place to centralise the discussion. Your move of German auxiliary cruiser Komet edit

I noticed you moved the article on German auxiliary cruiser Komet. I assume you had the best intentions doing so, but there is a naming convention for naval vessels which specifies that articles on ships like the Komet should be named <nationality><type><italicized name> ( cf. WP:NC-SHIPS). I therefore have moved the article back. Also, if you move an article, please check if other articles are affected by this. A lot of articles link to the Komet, which then would have been redirected. So long, ÄDA - DÄP VA (talk) 14:45, 21 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for December 15 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Quilombo, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Palmares (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Category edit

Why did you add the Category:Anabasis (Xenophon) to the Empire of Man article? Debresser (talk) 21:54, 12 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your reply on my talkpage. My problem with adding that category is that in the text of the article there is no indication to why that category would be appropriate. The least I would have to do is add the Template:Category unsourced to the article now. Unless you could write something in the article that would explain this. But first let me ask you if your claim that the plot is based on the Anabasis is your own original research or can be backed by sources? Debresser (talk) 09:02, 13 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Gaúcho United Front edit

The article Gaúcho United Front has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

One source notice since 2014 but still no improvement. Checked corresponding Portuguese article but no source there either. Checked for sources but only passing mentions with no in-depth coverage.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. 2A02:C7F:AC31:400:5DF4:2306:C377:30A6 (talk) 01:12, 18 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
