I agree with several of the observations that you made here: [1]. That's why the three Ivy League navboxes were nominated separately from those for the AAC, ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-12 and SEC -- because the Ivy League grad schools are situated somewhat differently based on popular perception (and there are stand-alone lists for these three per WP:NAVBOX, unlike the others). The other conference navboxes were clearly delete-bait, but we did not want the potential "Ivy League" argument to derail the argument for deleting the rest of the bunch. These three Ivy League navboxes were nominated primarily for the sake of equal treatment for all, and I could have seen this TfD going either way. Dirtlawyer1 (talk) 16:18, 6 March 2015 (UTC)
