Welcome!

Hello, Eggioto, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{helpme}} before the question. Again, welcome! Hi, I saw your message at User talk:Redthoreau. Redthoreau has replied to you there. I edit the Che Guevara page sometimes. Welcome! I hope you decide to get more involved. I'm an experienced Wikipedian, though not an administrator. If you have any questions about how Wikipedia works, feel free to ask me by posting a message on my talk page. If you have further comments about whether Che was a "physician" or not, you might want to post them at Talk:Che Guevara. Edits can happen slowly or very quickly. If you see something you believe is wrong, you can be bold and just go ahead and edit the page and change it. If others disagree, they can revert your edit, so bold changes like that are unlikely to do any harm. On the other hand, if you have reason to believe others are likely to disagree, it's often a good idea to discuss it on the article talk page first. I do hope you'll try your hand at doing some bold edits and get more involved in Wikipedia. It can be very satisfying. Coppertwig (talk) 21:55, 17 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

I just note that you said "I go first to Wikipedia to fact-check almost all my questions." at User talk:Redthoreau. I think it's great that you're using Wikipedia, but you need to be aware that since anyone can edit at any time, it's best not to rely on information from Wikipedia for important decisions. Generally, after finding a fact in Wikipedia you can usually check it by looking up the references given in the Wikipedia article, which are often available online. See Wikipedia:Researching with Wikipedia. Happy reading and happy editing! Coppertwig (talk) 20:09, 18 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
