Japan Collection of Microorganisms edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Japan Collection of Microorganisms, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.jcm.riken.go.jp/JCM/aboutJCM.shtml. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.)

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 02:32, 12 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Screening (microbiology) edit

A tag has been placed on Screening (microbiology) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. かんぱい! May 2010 edit

Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to LPSN, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. --moreno oso (talk) 02:15, 28 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please stop. Continuing to remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to LPSN, without resolving the problem that the template refers to may be considered vandalism. Further edits of this type may result in your being blocked from editing Wikipedia. --moreno oso (talk) 02:34, 28 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

To my surprise, I cannot understand why you warn me? In fact I created a page LPSN and added basic information to this page. The information I added was NOT "COPY-PASTE" material, so I used my own words & edit it. I also provided useful links on that LPSN page.

The standarized substitute warnings on your talkpage differ from the maintenance tags placed here. The tags tell you and other editors what the article needs to improve to Wikipedia standards. You might read WP:FIRST to get an idea how to create reliable souces that can be used for the article. Initially, I could added a Speedy Delete tag to the article but wanted to give you an opportunity to expand or grow it. ----moreno oso (talk) 02:44, 28 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please do not discuss article content at the article page, as you did twice on List of cities proper by population‎. Use instead the respective talk-page. Thanks, --IANVS (talk | cont) 02:49, 28 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Rivers of Japan and Hokkaido edit

Hi there,

It is unnecessary to add the Rivers of Japan category to the Hokkaido rivers. They are already in the category Rivers of Hokkaido, which is a subcategory of Rivers of Japan.imars (talk) 06:21, 25 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Chihiro Ishiguro edit

The article Chihiro Ishiguro has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Dubious notability. No third-party sourcing or in-depth coverage.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
