Request reason:

There is an outstanding (but unfounded) allegation of sock puppetry against me here. The principles of natural justice dictate that that accusation should be resolved before unilateral action can taken against me by a single administrator, without any prior notice. The notion that I am somebody's "sock", accompanied by an admission by the blocking administrator that he cannot even suggest a name, is troublesome. Moreover, an accusation of "trolling" has been made, but no evidence has been provided to support it, and no warnings were given in relation to particular edits. In fact, the edits I have made to St John's Jerusalem for example, have actually helped to repair that article from the parlous state to which previous hoaxers and vandals had reduced it. I object to the unilateral nature and speed of this block and desire to continue editing Wikipedia. Earlymorningcans (talk) 21:43, 22 May 2011 (UTC)
