Discretionary sanctions notice edit

This message contains important information about an administrative situation on Wikipedia. It does not imply any misconduct regarding your own contributions to date.

Please carefully read this information:

The Arbitration Committee has authorised discretionary sanctions to be used for pages regarding pseudoscience and fringe science, a topic which you have edited. The Committee's decision is here.

Discretionary sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimize disruption to controversial topics. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to the topic that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behavior, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. This message is to notify you sanctions are authorised for the topic you are editing. Before continuing to edit this topic, please familiarise yourself with the discretionary sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.

I have not edited anything yet. --EDtoHW (talk) 22:35, 24 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

(talk page stalker) Looking at your contributions, you've posted on Talk:Homeopathy, which is covered by these sanctions, I think. Like the notice says, it's just a warning that the sanctions exist, and do not imply any misconduct. Joseph2302 (talk)

August 2015 edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Guy (Help!) 22:27, 11 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

All you have done is grump at Talk:Homeopathy. Seriously, you seem to have no purpose here other than to kvetch at our unashamedly reality-based take on this subject. We have enough people doing that who contribute meaningfully elsewhere to offset the tedious advocacy. Guy (Help!) 22:28, 11 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

You don't want more than one editor to dispute the neutrality of the article - This is totally abusive - Why don't you shut down the talk page then? --EDtoHW (talk) 23:35, 11 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
No, we don't want "warriors for truth" where the purported "truth" is not actually, you know, true. Guy (Help!) 12:43, 12 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
This is your fantasy - You have a strong point of view for the topic - you participate in the dispute and the same time you use your buttons to ban people you disagree with---and I did not even edit the article. Inappropriate and incompatible with wiki principles - If the majority here approves this kind of behavior then this forum it is not a place for a real dialogue on the homeopathy article but for something else. --EDtoHW (talk) 13:03, 12 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
