Hi Dynasty Power! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Super League Greece several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Super League Greece, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 19:55, 15 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 2 weeks for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  ~ ToBeFree (talk) 18:23, 16 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I am uncertain as to the reason behind my recent block. I took measures to safeguard two particular articles [1] [2] from instances of vandalism and unwarranted edits. Importantly, I adhered to the three-revert rule and made an effort to initiate a discussion with the user responsible for the vandalism. The user has been engaging in an edit war, posted five personal attacks against me, which have been brought to the attention of the sissop - instead they ended up blocking just me for two weeks!! The other user was partially blocked after vandalising repeatedly. What is going on? I believe that my actions were in line with the principles of maintaining the integrity of the articles, and I find the imposed two-week block disproportionate to the circumstances. PS. I noticed that there are some accusations of sockpuppetry? I got blocked with no evidence and the sissop implies that somehow I am using another account? I seriously don't know what is going on. Dynasty Power (talk) 18:29, 16 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Per discussion below and my review of edit history. You were editing disruptively, which can happen when you disregard community norms even while editing with the best of intentions. — Daniel Case (talk) 07:35, 18 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I hope for Montigliani to file a sockpuppetry investigation at WP:SPI in the next hours, and I'd hope for that investigation to be processed before a decision is made here. It's time to resolve these accusations; I currently feel like I'm dealing with two throwaway accounts being used for complaining about each other. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 18:35, 16 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
Why did you block me for two weeks when you are aware of the vandalism taking place in separate articles? Montigliani is a new account, too! Dynasty Power (talk) 18:36, 16 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
I did write "two accounts" above, and I meant two. Yes, both accounts are new. I blocked you to prevent further edit warring, and your current description of your edits seems to confirm a preventative need for the block. My main concern is currently whether letting the block automatically expire after two weeks may have been too optimistic in multiple regards. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 18:39, 16 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
Oh, wow! Despite providing evidence of vandalism, you double down? Could you please clarify the specific rule I violated on Wikipedia that led to a two-week block? The other user attacked me five times and you did not even make an effort to tackle this, while you are aware they are edit-warring. I was only protecting two articles. Dynasty Power (talk) 18:40, 16 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

The three revert rule is clear: "There is a bright line known as the three-revert rule (3RR). To revert is to undo the action of another editor. The three-revert rule states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts, in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material, on a single page within a 24-hour period." Can ~ ToBeFree explain what rule I have broken that led to the two-week suspension? Dynasty Power (talk) 18:45, 16 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

The three-revert rule is irrelevant and not mentioned in the block reason, which does already contain all information needed. I should have clarified, though, that you were not dealing with "vandalism" – intentional damage to the encyclopedia – or at least not obvious vandalism.
The block is about your behavior, not others'. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 20:54, 16 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
What did I do and how does my behaviour go against WP's rules? Can you elaborate? Dynasty Power (talk) 21:11, 16 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
I was attacked five times, as showed in my edits above - why am I the only one blocked and why? Dynasty Power (talk) 21:12, 16 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Blocked as a sockpuppet

edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts as a sockpuppet of User:NikolaosFanaris per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/NikolaosFanaris. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Bbb23 (talk) 23:04, 23 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
