I assumed good faith at NCH, until you removed your post and my comment along with it. Copying it here just shows that I assumed wrongly and you are trying to spam WP. We have strict policies against that. If you decide to contribute constructively, please by all means do so. Adrian M. H. 19:13, 7 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

is my content not allowed? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dutchmanindustries (talkcontribs) 19:18, 7 August 2007

Sorry, but that content is about as spammy as it gets. It is a very long way indeed from being good enough to meet the basic minimum standards for inclusion. These are:
  1. Notability - A subject should have been written about in a non'trivial manner in multiple reliable sources that are entirely indepedent from the subject itself.
  2. Verifiability - All content must be attributable (and attributed) to the aforementioned sources. Original research and anything that amounts to it is not permitted.
  3. Neutrality - All articles must be neutral in tone, message, and material, with no undue weight or personal biases or conflicting interests.
  4. What WP is not states that WP is not here to provide web-space for advertorial, among other things.

If your company is notable enough, and a sufficient quantity of verifiable material is publicly available from independent sources, then it should be suitable for an article. If you can determine that these criteria can be met, I suggest that you make a request at Wikipedia:Requested articles or Wikipedia:Articles for creation or ask an independent experienced editor to assist you. Whatever you choose to do, I would not recommend that you contribute significantly to the article, since you have clear COI issues that are likely to present problems. Any editor would be likely to question your motivation for creating the article. Adrian M. H. 19:37, 7 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Tree tyer edit

A tag has been placed on Tree tyer, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Realkyhick 16:52, 8 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

This is exactly what I mean when I wrote that articles need to meet (or exceed) the standards for inclusion. I took the time to give you a lot of advice, on this talk page and on mine, about what qualities an article needs. To edit effectively, we have to look at our contributions with a neutral and almost disinterested eye. Not only do we have to present only the facts and do so without bias, but we always have to consider whether any given fact is suitable for inclusion. Adrian M. H. 17:17, 8 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Tree tyer edit

The article Tree tyer has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Doesn't meet WP:NOTABILITY. A promotional article, which has been tagged as of dubious notability for 7 years.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
