Vandals

Also, if they've settled down some, I usually avoid poking them with a sharp stick by reverting the IP user page. There's not much point to it - they've read it, and they just start vandalizing some more. In this case, his http: link isn't working, or we'd see something nasty. Yes, I am a sockpuppet, I have a user account and am a long-time user of the wiki. I do lots of small grammatical fixes (isolated punctuation corrections, etc.) Was just having a bad night. Somebody else was fooling with Orange (colour) a while ago. I gave them this message and they stopped:

"To avoid spelling revert wars, Wikipedia policy is to leave British or American spelling usage as they are in an article if they are consistently used, or if the article involves a nationality where that spelling or usage is appropriate. Please do not change spellings."

I would note that if the article title says "colour", the rest of the article ought to follow suit, so your instinct was correct. Acroterion _(talk) 03:32, 4 July 2007 (UTC)

Opinion requested

As a concerned wikipedian, I would like to seek an opinion on a little experience I had the last couple of weeks: I was looking for some info on Greece and Macedonia but I was faced with an awesome situation there. Apparently, there are non-ending disputes in that WP area for a very long time. I have never been involved or have done editing in the articles concerned, as I come from a technical field, where I have contributed two WP articles. However, I thought I might be able to help them in some way and I contributed a little bit on their Talk pages. As I found your User name on my Talk page (on inauguration), I decided to seek your opinion on one specific Talk Section:Talk:Greece#Freedom or Death from any respect you may wish to comment (also continued just after "Mythology" on the same Talk page).
