Hello. Thanks for getting in touch and leaving a respectful message. So as far as I understand, an article about a company need to go beyond information about its existence and acquisitions etc. WP:NCORP says coverage must be significant. New York Times coverage is not significant, Forbes coverage is often sponsored so those two cancel out per WP:SIRS. Generally the rule of three applies. Coverage should come from other notable organisations within the industry or sector, perhaps consider an industry trade body or regulator. By all means, see if you can expand on the coverage and find other sources. Feel free to resubmit if you think you have addressed these concerns and another editor will review the outcome. >> Lil-unique1 (talk) — 17:34, 5 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

@Lil-unique1: And thank you for being polite as well and for the detailed explanation. Of course, I have a vested interest in the page being approved, but what I'm reading in the policies seems different.
NCORP seems to discourage industry sources. For example, it says there is a "presumption against" trade publications. It prohibits "primary sources" like press releases from regulators/trade organizations. In the meanwhile, press coverage is mentioned as an example of the type of source that can be used to establish notability.
While some articles on Forbes are sponsored or written by "contributors," the Forbes article in question is written by a staff journalist. Wikipedia seems to have green-lighted journalist-written Forbes articles here. The article in question has Syryse in the title and is primarily focused on the company.
Sorry if this comes off as argumentative. I understood the notability rule to essentially mean that journalists at credible mainstream publications must write two profiles focused on the company. Dtearse (talk) 17:05, 15 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
I appreciate the polite and well-worded response. While I agree Forbes can be allowed where it is obvious its not a sponsored post, WP:THREE and WP:SIGCOV also apply. At the moment, the article information is very sparse and errs on the side of promotional. The article seems to be promoting the activities of the company. Even with unlimited significant coverage, we don't create articles purely to tell people that X companies exist with Y products and Z services. The coverage needs to go beyond passing coverage and explain the impact that the organisation has in its sector or with what it does.
I think it might be the case here that this is simply too early. If you can make some improvements that you think will satisfy these suggestions then feel free to do so and re-submit your draft. As reviewers, we're discouraged to review drafts we previously rejected so it is likely that someone else would end up reviewing it. However, do please note that resubmitting an article in the same format it was rejected will lead to an instant rejection. I wish you good look with your endeavour. Finally, if you have a vested interest in the organisation please check out the conflict of interest guidance to avoid any further issues. >> Lil-unique1 (talk) — 18:32, 15 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
